A Señor Ceviche Review

Señor Ceviche offers a pretty wide menu of Peruvian fusion food, with of course, a focus on ceviche.

First up was the Sea bream ceviche with aji amarillo tiger’s milk, avocado and tempura baby squid. It was flavoursome, whilst delicate and vibrant – pretty perfect!

For something heartier, we opted for the Jalea Mixto with Jalapeño Tiger’s Milk – which involved tempura prawns, baby squid and white fish bathing in the spicy sauce. The fish was very fresh so it was undeniably good.

I know this is one of their signature dishes, or at least one of their most popular. Patatas Fritas with Huancaina and Tomato Fondue – french fries slathered in fondue cheese and a fine spicy tomato sauce. They were incredibly moreish and very tasty.

The grilled meats on the menu looked very tempting, so we plunked for the Tamarind Chicken Anticuchos – skewered chicken thigh with spicy Peruvian sauces. It was lush and hearty.

The fries were so addciting, we had to order a whole other plate!

Whilst everything was good at Señor Ceviche, nothing was incredible. However, the prices are really just so low that you can’t complain.

Señor Ceviche London does not disapoint

Whatever you order, you’re not going to regret it when the bill arrives. Service was fine enough as well, though when we arrived we were told there was no chance of a table and we could sit at the end of the bar, though this spot was literally in the output of the extractor fan, why they even bothered to put a seat here I don’t know, as had a table not opened up we would have left.
