SiP takes Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin

A special moment for SiP.

Thursday February 22nd was a special day for SiP – I attended my first ever runway shows! I was very kindly invited to two shows on the final day of this week of fashion olympics, the first of which was — USE unused, a Hungarian label based out of Budapest. This may be a men’s fashion blog, but here’s something for the girls.

The collection presented for fall/winter 15 was minimal and elegant, and some Windows 95 inspired graphic prints were particularly inspired in my opinion! Everything was very wearable, and the outerwear was the real highlight for me.

On to the next show, and certainly a highlight of the calendar – Marina Hoersmanseder. This young designer made a name for herself last season with her harness and straight-jacket inspired designs, seen on cool girls like FKA Twigs, and this aesthetic was continued for fall. The colour palette was particularly vibrant for winter – which I loved!

It was a great day, and to revel in it I wore my dreamy Sandro camel duffle coat, a Zara black denim shirt, Topman stretch skinny jeans, and IRO Paris Youri boots.
