Leather Jacket – Garçon García
Plaid shirt – Sandro
Jeans – ASOS
Jodphur Boots – IRO
Alright, I’m still clinging on to this trend. Punk-luxe first made it’s debut on the Saint Laurent Menswear F/W 2013 runway, and since then, I have not swayed in my commitment to it. Finally though, I feel like I’m taking more time to commit to pieces that channel it in a more dedicated way. This shirt by Sandro was an end-of-season pick up, and the fabric is so luxuriously soft and immaculately crafted I know it will last for ages, yet its worn out greyish plaid is distinctly grunge.
The boots, though by IRO, clearly reference the ever-in-demand Saint Laurent cropped jodphurs, though the shade of suede stresses me out for being too light (not reflected in this image), and I am ever debating the SLP originals. Need I commit even more?
